Yacking and Adventureland

Nope, not yacking because of Adventureland though. We went to Des Moines last night to stay at a friends house. All was fine and dandy until Kaden comes running up the stairs at 1am and yacks in the bathroom. He did great in that he made it so far in an unfamiliar house. Us adults were just getting ready for bed, but that now was delayed. Poor Kaden kept getting sick throughout the night until close to 5am! Everytime we would lay down and think he was okay, he'd be back up. None of us 4 got much sleep :( Not sure what the problems was, he wasn't hot or anything.

Then we had to decide about whether to keep going to Adventurland or not. We had bought the tickets through Salem's school and they were only got on a couple days. The 3rd being the only day we could use them. We decided to go and mommy could stay with Kaden chilling out while daddy and Salem went on the rides. I had no problem sitting on a bench wih Kaden or riding the train all day. But Kaden got much better and was able to go on some rides! He wanted to hit the big core ones, but we limited it. It was SO cold and windy today! The boys had sweatshirts and winter jackets on, plus gloves!

Salem went on ALL 3 coasters!! Not without a LOT of crying and "no I don't want to" and "please don't make me" and all sorts of things to make us sound like horrible parents. But we made him go on them and guess what...he LOVED it!! Never going to go on them again...but he loved it! He hit a bunch of the smaller rides as well.

We let Kaden go on some bigger rides since he was handling the others okay. Kaden and mommy went on Tornado! We didn't let him go on The Dragon as it went upside down and I don't think that would have went over too well. At the end the boys went on G-Force, their FAVORITE ride! I told them, NO spinning! They wanted to do it again and again, but I didn't feel like dealing with any yacking. We had a good day without it, didn't want it to end bad.

All 4 of us went on The Outlaw and had frozen lemondaes aftrrwards.

Kaden and mommy fell asleep on the way home. Salem and daddy almost did too. We're all heading off to bed now as we're exhausted and have a big day again tomorrow. Keith has a mountain bike race!
