It wasn't supposed to happen this way!

Darn, such a good weekend of racing come to a crashing hault! A crashing hault of our car and bike on Hwy 30! We're about 10 minutes from home crusing along at 70mph when we hear a HUGE crash and slam on the brakes. Keith's bike is sitting in the middle of the lane behind us! Somehow, no idea how, it flew off the roof rack! Thankfully the guy slightly behind us did not run it over. We were able to get the car stopped (thanks to the nice new brakes!) and reverse it to pick it up. The poor bike! The poor car! Battle wounds all around! We've got a list of new parts it now needs, rear wheel is messed up again (just got that fixed last week), new fork, new rear skewer, new seat. Not to mention the multiples scrapes and bruises it has! My car has 2 big scratches on the trunk as well. Oh what a sad sight! Click on the link below to go to a photo album.
