Let's see, what went on today?? Oh, Friday, my car fit into the garage! Yup, Keith's car left us :( Sad and happy day all in one. Saturday we saw it driving around with a pizza sign on top. That was a sad moment!! Yesterday I was being cranky, so Keith took the boys for a bike ride from our house down to the trail and back. All on the road. Brave him! They came back too soon, I was loving the peace and quiet. The kids don't stop talking. Even in their sleep they talk, lol.
Today was a relaxing day. Hung some linens out on the line to dry. Very windy, kept blowing them off! Keith tried riding this morning, but came back shortly due to the wind being so bad and his rear wheel making a horrible sound. He tried fixing it and is going to take it to the shop tomorrow to get the rest worked on.
We got a FTF (first to find) on a cache today. That was fun to do! We also hit 3 other caches. All easy ones, but 2 were park and grabs. Just to get them off our to do list. The 3rd was a quick walk in the woods. Kaden wore long pants and long sleeves (okay he was wearing them already) and when we went off the trail he kept his hands in the air. Good kid! No more poison ivy for him!
His PI is getting better now! Still itchy, very tichy at times, poor kid. But it hasn't spread anymore and the blisters are pretty gone from some spots. His face is looking much better now. Still bad, but better than before.
My throat is starting to get sore. Gonna vicks it up tonight and take some meds. Hope it doesn't get any worse! And hope I don't pass it to anyone else. BIG weekend of bike racing coming up! We even got a hotel room for Saturday night! It made more sense than driving so far, it'll cost the same as gas, but it'll be less stressful and it's got a pool for the kids...and us.
Hope the weather is nice tomorrow night. Our Cub Scout picinic is then. Ourdoor grilling and awards at a park. Should be a fun time!
