What a beautiful day today was! High of 75 and sunny! It was almost hot even! Kids wore shorts to school and didn't need sweatshirts.
Salem wasn't home by 3:15, so I called up to his teacher, and he was still there cleaning his desk. I figured that's where he was, but wanted to check. I told him it was fine, but to give me a quick call next time so I knew
Boys played outside till it was dinner time and then off to scouts we went. I had a fun meeting planned, but sadly, only 3 kids showed up! I have 9 kids, but all I got was Kaden, Pat (his dad's a big wig) and a new kid. So disappointing! No meeting next week either due to a conflict in school. But hey, it was fun with the 3 of us. We did film canister rockets for a good while. Funny, Salem's group also did stuff with rockets.
Strawberries were on sale this week, so we stopped after the meeting to pick some up. I was able to get a rain check to get some more when they're not on sale. Cause we love our strawberry milkshakes!
