Salem's new bike!

We went to Wisconsin today to get Salem's new bike! Ordered it online and had to pick it up from the store. 2.5 hours later it was in our hands. We let Salem ride it around the parking lot before we secured it on the rack and drove another 2.5 hours home! Oh we also got the boys each a camel back for their water. Salem's is a bit more sophisticated with latches across the front and a pocket on the back to hold snacks and such. Kaden's is just a pouch for water, no pocket. It's fine by him he says! Kaden was a bit sad we didn't buy him a bike at REI, but the one they had was way too heavy. Not the perfect bike for him!

On the way home we stopped at the Trek store! Man if we had money! Lots of NICE bikes to replace Keith's broken one! We ended up buying a pair of socks for Keith, Salem and I. No sizes for Kaden :( We ended up stopping at Michaels this evening for some beads so I could make a new necklace and Kaden picked out a chalk/paint set. Made him happy!!!

Salem is ECSTATIC!!! Took him down to FMI to ride around the track. Daddy was showing him how and when to shift. The did practice sprints and Salem was able to reach 20.1 mph!! Go Salem!! They did 5 miles on the track and wore Salem out! Fast miles too!

Came home played outside for a while and then came in for dinner. A new cache popped up so out the door we ran! Show up and there is someone already at the cache, ugh. He wasn't actively searching for it, so we dug in and Ang came up with the find!! Kids wanted to stay around and see if anyone else showed up but they didn't. Figured they had stalled bedtime long enough we headed home to shower and sleep!

Hopefully tonight will be quiet weather. Last night we had to "duck and cover" due to tornado activity in the area. We were okay though!

Tomorrow it's back to work and school for the boys! Ang has a dentist appt for some work, not looking forward to that! And after Keith gets home we're going to Squaw Creek so Salem and Keith can do laps around there practicing shifting and such.
