After the race we went and found the Fenelon Place Elevator www.dbq.com/fenplco and rode that. Kids were kinda scared, as was I a bit. Keith was loving it. We all thought it was very cool, but the thought of it crashing down the hill was in our minds. Silly us! Again, the fog was in our way of great views. We got to the bottom and walked around downtown for a little, then back to the elevator. You had to ring a little bell once you stepped in the car so the guy at the top knew to pull you back up. It's a cool system. I'd love to ride it again.
Back home the weather had turned absolutely wonderful! We all put on shorts. Keith washed both cars and his bike. First time for the cars this year. He raked up some of the dead grass where we had the pool and we put down some fancy seed stuff to make it grow. Kaden washed his bike too. I layed in the hammock and drank lemonades. No, wait, I cleaned the inside garbage cans out and coolers. They all needed a good bleaching. And we got the laundry room door to open. That was nice to be able to use the back door to go outside. Oh, I did the grilling too. Brats and burgers on the grill, yummy! Then watched an episode of Top Gear and got the kids showers and into bed. Long day, full of fun!
