What? You say. Salem had his school musical performance tonight. It was done through his music/chorus class, but every kid had to participate. Versus his chorus concerts which you can chose to be in. They did a whole performance on the United States with song and dance relating to each region. Also some kids made states and held them up during the Nifty Fifty song. They then put them together on the floor of the gym to make the US. It was very cool to watch! Keeps me wishing we had a camcorder battery to tape it. By the time we end up getting one, all the school stuff will be over. It'll be good to have for next year and other fun stuff we do.
Salem got notice today he gets a free ride to summer camp. It's a week long overnight camp towards the end of July. He says he wants to go, so we'll go for it!
I made some pumpkin bread today. The kids are very excited! They LOVE pumpkin bread! I have a few mini silicone pans that I found at the dollar store a long time ago. Perfect size for the kids to eat. I've got some star and mini loaf ones. It's been a while since I made a batch, but it'll be gone in a couple days. Gonna make cupcakes tomorrow for Keith and I.
