Not sure why I'm not hired on full time by the school. I'm there enough as it is! I get asked a few times each week by others if I would consider full time if I was offered it. My reply is "depends on who I would be with". Some kids are easier to handle than other and would not be such a bad full time job. Others, no way! Working as a sub isn't bad when I'm not trained to restrain the kids, or really know what the heck I'm doing half the time. I go with the flow and do what they ask. So far this week has not been so bad, but it's only been 2 days. 3 more to go!
Keith had his Oval racing tonight. He didn't get home till 5:15 or so and we had to leave right away to get there. Tonight we were not the only spectators! Another mom and her little girl were there. Kaden and her had fun climbing all over the stands. Kaden also had a blast scouring the stands and grounds for anything that could be considered "good". His collection tonight was a marble, air soft pellet, 8 coke caps and a bunch of pop tops. Kept him busy for quite a while looking for them. Salem sat and played his DS for most of the night. Darn kids not into watching the race. Atleast we were not freezing like last time! There was another mom there, watching her son, I was talking to. Keith made some contacts as well!! He talked to a few guys from local teams about their training rides. So I guess he's gonna give them a try and see how it goes.
Oh a higlight of Kaden's...he got to run the track! When the races were done, Keith let him run around the mini inner track. And then he was able to dance around and play on the track. I hope he doesn't expect it everytime. Salem is talking about wanting to race on it when he gets his bike. We'll see. First he needs a bike! We're trying to find one that would work for him. He wants to ride the road races, but also cyclocross. Kinda hard to find a bike that will work for both. And we can't afford 2 bikes, heck the 1 bike will be bad enough. Plus Kaden needs a new bike. And my car needs new tires. And I need some dental work done. That tax return in May can't come soon enough!
Deadliest Catch started back up tonight! We LOVE that show!! We dvr'd it so we just watched it and zoomed through the commercials. It was 2 hours long, but we only watch the 1st part. maybe tomorrow we can catch the rest. Oh wait, nope, we have Donkey Basketball to watch! That should be fun to see!
Off to bed, another busy day tomorrow!
