Another busy night

So busy these days! I'm glad next week isn't so bad. Every night we've been busy, which has been nice, but it's reaked havoc on our dinners and doing things around the house. Kaden's school had a 2nd grade night at The Playstation, so we went to that. Started at 5pm. Keith got home and went off to join a group ride, woo hoo! Too bad they only got 2 miles into the ride when it started lightening and dark clouds were rolling in. So they gave up and he came home to ride the rollers. The boys and I were still at The Playstation having a ball. There was not a big turnout at all, I counted maybe a dozen kids. Oh well, Kaden had a few people from his class show up, so he was happy and we stayed for 2.5 hours.

After that we headed to Sam's. It's Fun Food Friday at work and I needed to bring something. I picked up some of those YUMMY mini cinnamon rolls. I would have loved to make something, but I was out of time. Maybe next time I can bring in some ziti, or non sweet foods. We have alot of people on diets and even those that are not, sweets can be a bit too much. I'm bringing in some carrots too. Can't go wrong with those. I also needed to bake something for Salem's Spring Fling at his school tomorrow. Ugg, nothing was sounding good to make. I ended up taking some circle pretzles and putting kisses on them, melting them and putting a m&m on them. The boys unwrapped the kisses while I read them their bedtime story. Then Keith helped me do the rest. We made almost 200 of them. They are small though. I also took some ice cream cones and filled them with M&M's and jelly beans and wrapped them up all cute. I'm hungry now!

Hope tomorrow is dry! We really want to hold the event outside, but it can't happen in the rain :( We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Picture of the day: I found this picture on a memory card I had found the other day. Don't think I ever shared it. Salem and Kaden with Mr and Mrs Claus at the local Christmas party in town. It was FREEZING that night! We had to wait 2 hours in bitter cold to see them, but the kids loved it! We came home and fought over who got what register to warm up.
