First lesson of the day...NEVER shop on a weekend!! I really don't know what we were thinking going to the grocery store on a saturday! We went to Walmart for a new tire for Kaden's bike, HyVee for some groceries on sale and Fareway for some apple pies for Keith and strawberries. I had planned to get meat there too, but the line was oturageous! It's a full serive meat deptartment and has awesome meat, but not when I was like 20th in line! So we skipped the meat and went to wait in line at the gas station, where the gas prices had gone up to $3.39! I wish I coudl say my kids were well behaved, but the otehr shoppers were WAY worse! Seriously, let's stop in the middle of the isle and block the whole row. Ugg! My kids were angels compared to them! So I was all flustered after dealing with them and after we got home, I had some clothes to return, so I went alone and did that. I stopped at Sears to return and saw their clothes were now additionally 75% off. And GUESS WHAT I FOUND??? My grey pants!!! Only problem was they were not my size :( They were one size smaller, but not terribly too tight. I can wear them, but to fit a bit better I need to drop a couple pounds, which might be easier now that my Easter candy is gone! But I got my grey pants and they were only $5.64!
Keith got out his mountain bike in preparation for a bike race tomorrow. Took it out for a ride, was gone about 30 minutes when I got a phone call from him. His chain had broken :( He had worked on that before and rigged it to hopefully work. Guess it didn't. So we got in the car and picked him up. Came back and fixed it again. Got the kids tires on and everyone went for a test drive in the yard. Nothing broke! We were set to go!!
