What am I talking about?? Well for those that helped us in the quest today, they know and thank you!
Cirque Du Soleil is coming to our town. The couple radio stations are giving away tickets. Here, I'll copy what their sites said:
"Be on the look out for the Saltimbonco Bus filled with a mime, stilt walkers, jugglers and more. Say the word "Juggle" to one of the performers and instantly win a pair of tickets to the show. "
They have a few stops every day for the next few days around some cities near us. So today they are in our town. We go to the 1st stop and wander the mall trying to find them. Finally the bus pulls in and a line of cars (us included) follow them. We end up back where we parked, doh. A rush of people run to the bus. All of a sudden a lady (the aztec lady) yells "Chik fil-e" and everyone runs to their cars thinking that where ther are de-bussing. We think we can beat the crowd and run through the mall instead of in our car. We get to the other side of the mall and wait for the bus. The Aztec lady comes walking up as well and we wait. The security guy is there and a Chik guy too. The bus pulls up and we are told the clowns are inside with the tickets. I have never seen people runs so fast in the mall! The boys start running and we walk fast. The Aztec lady comes walking back saying the tickets are gone. UGG! They handed them out at the other end of the mall where we parked. GROWL ON THE AZTEC LADY!!! Growl on us for not waiting to see the truth. GROWL all over! We did get a picture with them and all of us following the bus.
So then, they are making a stop at another location, we figure we'll try there. It's back on our side of town, but we have a while before they are scheduled to arrive. We make a pit stop and head to the location. The bus is already there! 15 minutes early! The bus pulls away, but we go inside thinking they dropped the clowns off. Nope they guy says they have left. Left before they were even supposed to be there! Okay fine, we high tail it out of there and can see the bus, so we follow it to the next location. They were not supposed to be there till 7pm, but it's only 6pm. We're there when the guys step off and follow them into the bar. Not sure if it is 21 and over or what, oh well, we want the tickets!!! Kaden runs up to the one guy and says the secret word. The guy says "oh no, we're all out!" AHHH!!! I wanted to scream!!! The guy was nice and all, we chatted about seeing them last weekend at the bike race and how we've chased them all over. He told us to meet him outside and he'll see what he has on the bus for the kids. So he ends up giving all of us some clown noses and a poster he signed. Woopdeedo! I don't want a clown nose, I want free tickets!!!

The kids really don't care. I thought it'd be fun to go see them, looks exciting. But not when nosebleed tickets are $40 each!
Plus...we struck out at every place we went today! KAB (Keep America Beautiful) day at church, we were the only ones to show up and clean the place up. We weren't supposed to be there, but since the bike race was cancelled, we decided we would help, the afternoon shift was cancelled becuase only 1 other people signed up for that one. The poor boys and us filled 10 bags of leaves! They are set for 2 years for KAB! Then to Payless for some new shoes for me, got Salem and Kaden shoes for $7 together! That was the only bonus today. No shoes for me :( And we left the westside of town without getting Kaden's glasses fixed. We wanted to get a new battery for my camcorder, but the place was out of business. We later found it just moved, but was closed for the evening. CVS was out of M&M's they were buy 1 get 1 free, plus you got $3 back, so 49¢ for 2 big bags. Both locations had none. Hum...what else?? Dinner's in the oven, let's see what I can mess up with that!
We're on a mission after dinner to find one good thing today! I said the grocery store, can't go wrong there! I can always find something to buy!
