Seriously, I need to dress my children in saran wrap! Guess what I found on them tonight??? Poison Ivy again!! This time on Salem! Salem has 3 splotches on his one calf, thankfully that is all for now. Kaden has it all over both his calves his ankle and a little on his arm! That darn kid was fully covered at the bike races!! Wait, maybe not. Keith and I were just going over it in our heads as to how he got it. When we got to the bike race Kaden had pants on but he was drinking soda and spilled it all over himself. So we took the pants off and put some shorts on. We then went to walk the bike course. It was a trail, but not that wide. We did have to jump off a little bit when bikers came by. Salem started scratching his leg partway through, but seemed to be because of a scratch he got. Once we got back to the car before we headed out to watch Keith's race Kaden then put his tall socks on. So now we have figured out our stupid mistake. UGH! Man we try so hard with that kid and then one little mile of unprotected legs and look what he gets! And Salem is so surprised how he got it since he never has, us too.
So we had a coating party tonight, need to buy a gallon of that cream! Or maybe soak them in the tub on it...that'd be expensive! Kaden can take Benedrly liquid tomorrow but Salem can't since it will make him fall asleep. Salem was hoping to stay home from school since he has PI, sorry kid, nope!
Ugh man, this just stinks!!! I feel so dumb since we've been so careful to keep him covered and them this slipped. Well, atleast it's getting cold now so there is no chance he'll have shorts on for any more bike races. Hopig this stuff doesn't spread anymore on them!
