Keith and I are not into politics at all. I'm sure we really should be, but we're not. We have ideas of what's going on, we know who's running for president and the basics. But to get into more detail just kind of bores us. We watched the Vice Presidential debate last week, that's the most we've paid attention. Oh no, I did get Keith to watch Keith Oberman on MSNBC, that was fun with them talking about the debate. I need to watch Fox to see some Biden bashing though as MSNBC was all about bashing Palin.
So tonight is the Presidential debate. We've got it on for now, but how long before it gets turned off??? I think Tom Brokaw will be the most interesting person tonight.
Kaden is all about politics though. He asks me almost everyday who am I going to vote for. I tell him I'm undecided still. Kaden says he would vote for Obama because (in his words) he would be the youngest president as well as the first black president. But McCain would be the oldest. Kaden failed to mention Palin would be the first women vice president. But it is interesting to see through the eyes of an 8 year old and what he thinks is important, or what he is learning. I know they can't get too detailed in school, so they cover the main basic stuff.
Alright, I think when the red light comes on after 2 minutes, the mic needs to shut off! The little stop light does no good, need to shock the candidates or something! Off to watch the debate...wonder if it'll get interesting or if Keith will fall asleep on the couch.
