Scout night again! It was SO nice not having to plan anything!! There was a committee meeting afterwards so I did have to plan the adgenda, but that was pretty easy, we had lots to cover, not sure if we would get through it all. It's tough to keep our group on track, lots of side discussions!
Kaden's den had a field trip to the local bike store. Keith took him and dragged Salem along too. They said it was a good time. The guy doing the demonstrating kept them all in line, which is pretty impressive! They covered what to wear, where to ride and what to do on the bike. Kaden said he didn't learn anything new. But the guy told the kids to get to the side of the room that they ride their bikes on. Salem was the only one that moved to the right side. Kaden said he didn't want to lose his spot, ugh! The field trip only lasted about 45 minutes so Keith and the boys had plenty of time to browse the store. I told him not to come home with anything! Keith said he wouldn't come home with anything new...but he claims clearance items are not new. Hum, not sure on that one. He did behave and showed up empty handed, nothing on layaway either!
I was at the church getting stuff ready and talking to people. Nice and relaxing!
Finally it was meeting time. The boys had their DS and tech deck toys to play with and that kept them happy! Our meeting ended up being 1.5 hours long! But we did cover a ton of info to get planning events and other meetings. 9pm we were finally able to call it quits for the evening. Late night, home and to bed!
I was told the committee meeting went very well, so yeah me!!! I hope the rest of the year goes well.
